Something to Say: Milton Writing Club @ Sherwood
Join fellow writers for a monthly guided writing workshop designed for adults of all experience levels. Through themed prompts and creative exercises, participants will develop their wiriting skills while exploring various genres in a welcoming and supportive environment, with optional opportunities to share their work at the end of the session. From July through September, explore memoir writing. Through reflective prompts and guided exercises, participants will learn techniques for capturing personal experiences, memories, and meaningful moments, transforming them into compelling stories. 2026 Session Dates: Saturdays, 2:00-3:30pm Sherwood Library July 18 August 22 September 26 October 31 November 28 December 5 Drop-in. Register for email reminders. __________________________________________ Prerna Somani is the creative mind behind Rasa Writing Studio. She has her MFA from Emerson College and over ten years' experience in writing and editing epic fantasy, romance, thrillers, poetry and memoir for publishers like Macmillan and Bloomsbury. She has worked as a writing instructor with Suffolk University, and has experience advising on writing for academic, essay, competition and creative purposes, as well as experience in editing, teaching and marketing.
